Trend Tuesdays: New years outfit ideas!

Christmas may only be a couple of days away but it's never too early to start planning that new years eve outfit. After all, you can't welcome in a new year if you haven't got the perfect outfit to start 2015 off with a bang!

The 'I forgot to buy a dress': Sometimes no matter how much time you think you have, new years eve just creeps up on you too soon! Every girl has a LBD in their wardrobe which can be a life saver and it doesn't have to be boring. Brightly coloured nails and a bold lip will add a flash of much needed colour while a diamant√© necklace will provide the glitz!

The 'It's too cold to show skin'
: In the depths of winter, a dress isn't always a desirable pick to walk the frosty streets in. That doesn't mean you have to look boring though! A smart jumpsuit is a great pick but so are a pair of flattering jeans! A blazer and statement clutch will be enough to add wow factor while you stay nice and warm!

The 'I've eaten too much for bodycon': Everyone over eats at Christmas which makes squeezing into a bodycon dress a week later a nightmare! Luckily the 60's style shift dress is in for winter and you can opt for one in a gorgeous monochrome too! Another option is a dress with a floaty, unfitted body and tight. This is flattering as it balances the proportions and falls nicely without clinging to you.

The 'Stand out from the crowd': Winter is perfect for it's variation of textures, from knitted to faux fur. Try a faux leather bubble skirt with some brightly coloured tights or a pretty lace dress with black chunky boots. Mixing up styles and patterns create an edgy look and will look bang on trend if you stick to similar colours and flattering fits.
