Trend Tuesdays: Menswear Autumn/Winter

Autumn/Winter is my pick of the seasons for the best looks for men. They can add deep, autumnal colours easily and look chic when layering different textures. This season has some brilliant trends for men so lets delve in!

Turtle necks: There's nothing worse than a chilly neck when the winter months hit but fear no more men, turtle necks are back. We saw them replacing shirts and ties under blazers or worn alone with jeans for casual wear.

Monochrome: A trend that just doesn't seem to be going out of style! Keep the look all black with small white detailing's such as a pattern or a hint of a white shirt. This is a classy look that can be spiced up with layering and varying textures like a plaid coat and a chunky knit scarf.

Skinny leg: The sixties were revisited and slim trousers are back with a vengeance! Slim fit with rolled up ankles, these look great with bulkier layers on top to balance it out.

Burst of colour: Colour and pattern is in to brighten up those gloomy evenings. Introduce a patterned knit over a shirt or opt for a pair of bright chinos to add a modern look to an old favourite.

Green inspiration: This ones a look suitable for everyone and a subtle way to add colour to an outfit. Choose a statement piece like a chunky coat or a dark green shirt to easily work this into your outfit.

Footwear: Boots are always a firm favourite for the colder months and there's a choice for every taste this season. For smart wear, suede boots in a plain brown or brighter teal are a popular option. For the weekend, leather brogues and rugged utility boots suit a pair of jeans perfectly.
